It’s the American situation that is held up as an example of the horrors of covid and the terrible danger we’re sheltering from at the cost of our national life, freedoms, economy, health, sanity and whatever else… isn’t it?

But it is the American situation that we’re mainly talking about when we say things are not so bad with the virus but things are terribly worse with the measures.

No one seems to understand or perhaps they don’t believe or perhaps they just don’t care.

So I’ll say it again:

The virus isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be – nothing remotely worth going to these extremes for and:

These extremes

1. Don’t work and

2. Are horrendously harmful.

So that’s it, see? I might be wrong about that but actually I’m just repeating what well qualified people have said and are saying. I wish people would check it out for themselves.

Anyway: back to America. Here’s an interesting little look at America today. It was forecast that the USA would go to hell in a handbasket after millions of people willfully defied their ‘masters’ and travelled and congregated in large groups all over the country for family reunions an halloween dinners and parties and merry making.

That was the prophecy.

Here’s what happened- see for yourself – there’s nine states represented in the first chart and all nine were peaking in cases before the holiday. Just about at the holiday or shortly before cases began to fall – in ALL nine states (i.e. regardless of any differences in ‘measures’) and the fall continued DESPITE the ‘remiss and terrible’ behaviour of the people. i.e. the behaviour of the people – throwing away all the measures – made no difference to the behaviour of the virus at all.

Understand? The other side of that is, of course, that the measures make no difference at all as has been demonstrated so often.

Australia claims differently. Which is so much bull. For a different thing is happening in Australia. It is in quarantine. There is no covid here. Whenever there is it has swiftly been isolated and allowed to burn out.

That’s not an instance of an epidemic being effected by ‘measures’ that’s an instance of an epidemic never getting started.

So what’s wrong with that? Well it’s all a matter of costs, isn’t it?

Quarantining Australia and wiping out incidences of the virus when it does get in is costing an enormous amount and I’m not just talking money.

It is costing so much that it is almost certainly costing more than the virus would cost. As each day goes by that becomes more and more certain, of course, because daily the cost mounts.

Now they say all bets are off because there’ll be a vaccine. But that too is a cost. That will be a horrendous cost. Billionaires are going to be made in bigpharma on this. With billions out of our pockets. Millionaires are going to be made on the ground providing the means to keep the bloody thing at -70° all the time. By providers of vaccination services and ‘stations’ and staff and transport et al…

That cost alone would probably be more than the cost of the virus would be.

For a vaccine that is not a cure. That does not guarantee 100% protection. That will have it’s own contra-indications (i.e. times, situations, where it must not be given) and will need re-working when the next variant of the virus pops up.

Which will probably be every year. So these billionaires and millionaires are looking forward to a gravy train to keep them going the rest of their lives.

And the politicians are looking forward to a power spree like they’ve never dreamed of for the foreseeable future, too – they’ll be able to, they are planning to, keep all kinds of measures constantly on the books, all kinds of freedoms permanently curtailed – AND they’ll be able to cream their jeans doing that only thing they prefer more than exerting power over the masses which is: spending the mass’s money.

Now that’s cost, too. Isn’t it? Would you call it a benefit? It’s not a benefit. It is a cost.

Just watching a ‘Sky News’ thing where they’re castigating Dan Andrews.

Scapegoat finding time. There’s going to be plenty of opportunity for that in the future as all is revealed. The past and the future, all to be revealed. The past madness, the future madnesses planned and the costs to be met, the suffering created.

Good. I’m glad it is all getting out.

But just one thing: it’s not all Dan Andrew’s fault, not anything like it.

This is the comment I made on that video:

I totally agree Andrews is reprehensibly at fault.
But the major villain is us.
We are supposed to be democrat voters and citizens and part of the political process. Of the people for the people by the people – remember?

We should have been on the backs of the pollies from the word go when the alarmism and obscurantism and downright falsehoods and misrepresentations begain.

But we didn’t and still don’t, come to that.

Go out in the street and ask people what’s the death rate of the virus?
Who does it kill at what rate?
What treatments are there?
What makes you particularly prone?
What does ‘death rate’ mean, anyway?
Per case? Per head of population? Per ICU case, what?
What constitutes a ‘case’?
A PCR finding? Showing symptoms? Admission to hospital? Admission to ICU?
Whats happened in the world with the various ‘measures’ ?
Is there anywhere it’s turned out to be harmless without any measures at all?

And so on….

And you will get a blank. A big nothing. Because they don’t know and they haven’t demanded to know and your t.v. media shows haven’t demanded either.
And the opposition political parties haven’t demanded either.
And the scientific establishment hasn’t demanded on our behalf either.
And on and on….
And all to be repeated with respect to the damages incurred by the measures…\

What’s all that?

It is vast condemnation of the whole thing and of everyone concerned.
In particular, in a democracy: the people.
The pollies: junk. Ah well, they are frail humans wanting to be on show as pollies is all.

The media: junk. ah well, they are frail human beings wanting to be on show…
etc… etc..

But the people? they are the people. Supposedly acting in their own interest.
But walking around in empty streets with masks on.
Gathering in web venues to complain an iterate and reiterate the same old stuff… while doing nothing, nothing, nothing…
that’s the guts of the matter.

the emperor has been shown to be without clothes.
but the emperor in a democracy is the people themselves.
we deserve nothing but rubbish.
and that’s what we’ve got.
and that’s what’s projected for us to get for the foreseeable future…

And that bloke with his ‘score card’ and his observations – he’s part of the problem, totally, useless talking head. He misses the point absolutely, too. All the points. He’s a nothing. And that’s been the trouble from the beginning. All we see/hear are the nothings. The somethings like Dr john Ioannidis and so on… nope, don’t see them…

I’d imagine a lot of it. Education is a scam. All parts of it. From the scam of charging too much for education all the way to the scam of the govt. claiming unemployment figures are down by excluding those doing part time studies and suchlike things….

Found the missing word!

For maybe years now I’ve felt a lack of a word. Some word to describe this ubiquitous phenomenon today of insincere people imposing their will on us all in the name of this or that minority.

Theodore Dalrymple, that most worthy man, has apparently found the word for me according to a post in ‘the Skeptical Doctor’ where it quotes him as having said:

Cant is more destructive than hypocrisy because it is harder to expose and because a humbug deceives himself as well as others, while a mere hypocrite retains some awareness; he is a rogue rather than a villain. Cant is the vehement public expression of concern for others, or of anger at an opinion casting doubt on some moral orthodoxy that is not, and cannot be, genuinely felt, its vehemence being a shield for insincerity and lack of confidence in the orthodox opinion.

Leaders in cant are not inquirers after truth but seekers of power, if only the power to destroy, which is often a delight in itself. Cant is the weapon of the ambitious mediocrity, a class of person that has become much more numerous with the extension, but also dilution, of tertiary education. Such people believe that social prominence is their due.

That’s it. Without a doubt. The venom that is rotting our society from within.

That’s it. They’re cants. I’ve been using a very similar word which though it was right in what it said didn’t satisfy as being overall too vague, too essentially pointless, failing to attack the essence of these people.

They’re cants.

That’s what they are.

You know it’s one of the major things politicians have going for them that we generally think of them as stupid. And we write them off. Discount them. Ignore them. Think them not worth thinking about, interacting with.

We vote for them because we have to and as soon as that’s done we forget them as quickly as possible.

And whenever something really troubles us we go to the streets and organise marches etc, protest rallies, demonstrations – get it? anything except go to the pollies and tell them what we want of them.

Anything.

But they’re not stupid. They are generally far above the common run in at least one kind of intelligence: manipulation, prevarication, opportunism, self interest.

So they’re not doing these criminal covid measures now out of a stupid inability to see the truths being presented all around and daily increasing as the situation goes on.

It’s not that they don’t understand the charts about lockdowns not working about masking not working nor the estimations of terrible damages being done or harms brought to people etc….

They’re not dumb. They’re not stupid.

And that’s why the constant shouting and iteration of the truths has no effect on them at all. Because you’re not telling them anything new. You’re not telling them anything they don’t know.

But they know something you don’t know because they are more intelligent than you in this direction, quicker, more capable.

They know this:

If you invent a phantom to frighten the people and rob them blind and destroy nearly everything how do you avoid being found out?

You need to kill the phantom.

With what? Anything. It’s a phantom. Anything can kill it.

But you need to convince the public that you have a lethal weapon and that your lethal weapon killed the phantom.

And that’s what they’re doing.

Keep the phantom active as long as they possibly can until their ‘weapon’ – a vaccine – is forcibly introduced and then the outcome has to be good.

Has to be. Because it was a phantom. It doesn’t matter if the vaccine works or not. It doesn’t need to work. It’s a phantom.

So when the measures stop and the wind drops and the turmoil ceases and we look around – all will be good.

And the pollies will say ‘see what we did’. And smile.

And big pharma will smile.

And lickspittle journalism will smile.

Etc.

See? They’re streets ahead of you. They’re involved in the end game already while you’re still ‘protesting’ to each other and doing nothing, not even bugging the pollies, nothing.

So who’s the stupid one?

And so this should get written down in history as the greatest criminal coup of all time, exceeding by orders of magnitude, all things considered, the vast conspiracy of the Inquisition.

You can’t help wondering how fair dink the govt’s of Aus. are can you?

Because all the evidence points to, essentially, two things:

. Covid is relatively harmless ( i.e. much the same as other such)

. The lockdown are ineffective and to the contrary are criminally harmful to both the nation and individuals within it.

So why not admit the truth, promulgate the truth, drop the crap, improve things?

Well it’d be – or I mean you’d have to wonder if it wasn’t – because if the thing ran wild the truth would soon be out and they’d be exposed for the lying alarmist misdirecting obscurantists they are.

End of their careers. What a shocking shame. How ever to live it down?

To be exposed thus would be probably the worst thing they could ever imagine. Just the shame. But career ended too. But more: what about court cases for damages? Untold. Unending.

They can’t afford it.

And there’s hundreds of them. And they are all the people at ‘the top’. All of them.

But if they can spend another few million and terrorise and intimidate the nation another few months then they can force everyone to have a vaccination and it doesn’t matter a damn whether that vaccination does any good or not – the truth either way will be revealed that everything’s pretty harmless and handleable….

And they can claim the vaccine did it.

And a terrible fate was averted thanks to their exemplary handling.

Now you can’t help wondering, can you?

For it’s fairly unequivocal.

Either everything has been a colossal fraud of homicidal and criminal extent

or

they were totally right and covid running wild through your nation would cause untold horrible deaths to virtually everyone it touches.

Both Hollywood type scenarios. Far removed from ordinary experience.

You can’t help wondering, can you, which one it is?

The vaccines are unproven despite claim. The vaccines are only claimed to ‘reduce symptoms’. But what’s the point of that for an illness largely symptomless anyway? (ie. not an illness really).

In the UK yearly deaths are actually the same as they would have been anyway.

But more people are dying at home than otherwise would have – dying from untreated illnesses.
